Our journey began in Erbil in 1987, selling car accessories. Over the years we grew across trade, construction, manufacturing and services — and in 2009 we entered the lubricants sector, where it quickly became one of our proudest achievements. It all ran from a single Khal Motor Oil showroom in Erbil — the storefront that grew into the network behind Axooil today.
In 2014, Khal Group invested in its own integrated lubricants facility. The KHAL Lubricants Factory in Erbil's Temmar Industrial Area was completed in 2018, making us one of very few companies in Iraq able to produce internationally certified engine oils domestically.
The factory runs a complete production cycle — base-oil blending, additive mixing, automated filling, capping and packaging, all under one roof. We remain committed to excellence in every engine we serve.
